Weekly Verses

Morning quiet time is special to me. It's how I get my energy for the day (and I'm not just talking about the coffee). I'm trying something new this year.

After realizing how much better a passage can be if it's read repeatedly instead of just once, I'm assigning a different passage to each week of this year. I'll read it every morning of the week, maybe a few times, and by the end of the week it will be deep in my soul.

My goal is not memorization, though that would be a good side effect, but just to drink each passage deeply rather than sipping on it and moving on the next day to something else. As I post each Sunday, I'll choose a verse from my passage to highlight at the top of my post.
